Pink Ribbon Ladies Luncheon was established in 2008.

Initially, PRLL was scheduled as a casual lunch to meet the female vendors that we worked with in our business, Lawns By Les.

The first two PRLL luncheons were hosted at the Arizona Coyotes arena with about 10 women.

In 2010, one of my dearest friends and childhood neighbor, Matt Borowski, was preparing to buy The Spicery. After a few discussions we thought, 'What better place for a Pink Ribbon Ladies Luncheon than a quaint tea house?'

The first year we hosted PRLL at the Spicery we had roughly 30 women attend; with a few of my friends offering wonderful gifts for the door prizes. Little did we know it would soon turn into vendors, multiple lunches and a fundraiser.

My Grandma Vi was a breast cancer survivor, and the more ladies that attended the more stories I heard. We soon realized education and awareness was also very important. We immediately added health materials to each 'Swag Bag' and provided onsite mammogram services, thanks to Mobile Onsite Mammography.

PRLL continues to grow each year, and thankfully The Spicery continues to accommodate our growth. In 2017 more than 100 guests joined for a delightful, sit down luncheon and even more joined us for shopping, swag bags, auctions, raffles and games.

2020 will be our 13th Annual Luncheon and we are planning for a wonderful event!
